October 2025 - Rumpelstiltskin
When Dame Dottie boasted that her daughter Bella can spin straw into gold, she inadvertently placed her in terrible danger. We had great fun with this production, featuring many fantastic characters including The Big Bad Wolf, a fairy who can’t get any spells to work and an overgrown dwarf!

April 2025 - Rumours

When Ken and Chris arrived at an anniversary party they were surprised to find their host Charley, a prominent Government official, in his bedroom too dazed to speak with a bullet hole in his ear lobe! This riotously funny play explored the challenges and comforts of relationships as the four couples invited to the party attempt to piece together what has happened and work out how to spare their hosts, and themselves, from scandal.
October 2024 - Alice in Wonderland
A normal day took a surprising turn for Alice when she fell down a rabbit hole, finding herself surrounded by absurd characters and in charge of a mission to save Wonderland from the evil Wrong Red Queen. We had so much fun with Ben Crocker’s adaptation of the famous story!

April 2024 - A Bunch of Amateurs
This hilarious comedy, written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman was funny and moving in equal measures. The play followed a fading Hollywood action hero, Jefferson Steel, as he arrived in England to play King Lear in Stratford, only to find that this is not the birthplace of the Bard but instead a small rural town, and the cast are a bunch of amateurs. Jefferson’s monstrous ego, vanity and insecurity were tested to the limit by the enthusiastic am-dram thespians; as rumours circulated and acting worlds collided, Jefferson began to discover some truths about himself!
October 2023 - The Elves and the Shoemaker
In this brand new panto by Katie Skeffington we joined two brave elves, Twix and Curly, as they arrived at King Nitwit’s Palace on an important mission. Panto fun for all ages!

April 2023 - But Why Bump Off Barnaby?

The week after Easter, audiences flocked to the newly refurbished Village Hall to find out the answer to the question on everyone’s lips – who bumped off Barnaby? Sherston Drama Group’s latest production presented the answer to this mystery, alongside others such as ‘who is this Barnaby chap anyway?’ and ‘why would anyone want to kill him?’ The play was a murder mystery farce written by Rick Abbot - think Agatha Christie meets Knives Out and you’re on the right lines.
November 2022 - Murder is Served

As we started up again after COVID we decided to try something new - a one night interactive murder mystery script, written by Jo West. The audience was invited to Chez Lindsay’s restaurant to celebrate the birthday of their friend, Clarissa Hopgood. However nothing was as it seems and a brutal murder takes place - as events unfolded the audience were invited to work with the cast to try to deduce who was responsible.
